Ingredients
- 135g unsalted butter, chopped
- ½ cup of dark cooking chocolate
- 3 eggs, lightly whisked
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of AT Hemp protein powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Steps
STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 160C fan force. Grease a 20cm square cake pan and line with baking paper.
STEP 2: Place butter and chocolate in a double boiler or use a glass heat-resistant bowl over a saucepan of gentle simmering water; don't let the bowl touch the water. Stir with a spoon until melted and remove from the heat.
STEP 3: Stir in eggs, vanilla and all dry ingredients until just combined.
STEP 4: Pour into the cake pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out with moist crumbs.
Eat fresh and warm from the oven or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
